So just to be clear I believe that life insurance is important to help cover funeral cost (if the funds will not be accessible when you pass but it is also important to have so your family’s (children, spouse or anyone you financially support) will be able to keep the same quality of life after you pass away.

With the increase in identity theft (that Equifax breach scared everyone) I have been asked multiple times about what steps I’m taking to protect my credit.
Protecting your credit is not a one size fits all approach.
There are multiple ways to protect your credit and you should choose the option that is best for you.
Are you making the minimum payment on your credit card every month but it seems like the balance is not decreasing? Do you want to pay down your debt but you currently don’t have a large amount to put towards your debt every month? Well, guess what, you don’t need to put a large amount of money to see your credit card balance decrease.
I haven’t talked about my student loans on here yet but there’s no time like the present. Last August, I decided that I wanted to pay off my student loans in the next 3 years but as I started to help my son with his college applications and scholarship search, I decided to push back my start date until he left for college. I wanted to focus on helping him find scholarships and I wasn’t sure I would be able to do that if I was in full on hustle mode, so starting in September, it’s on!!!
